marronniers

French editorial calendar (marronniers) 2026-2027 as SWI-Prolog facts.

A marronnier is a recurring date that French media and marketers plan content around: public holidays, commercial events (sales, Black Friday), themed world days, school holidays and season changes. This pack ships 139 of them for France, from 14 September 2026 to 31 December 2027, each with the source that fixes its date.

Install

Dates are date(Year, Month, Day) terms (first day of the event). Categories: ferie (public holiday), fete (non-statutory celebration), commercial, journee (themed day or week), vacances (school holidays), saison (season change).

Dates come from fixed dates, public calculable rules (Easter, Mother's Day, Black Friday, sales periods set by the Code de commerce) or official texts (school calendar decrees). World days without a fixed date or public rule are excluded.
