Design pattern: Adaptor
Description: "Convert the interface of a class into another interface clients expect. Adapter lets classes work together that couldn't otherwise because of incompatible interfaces."
This pattern can be used with both classes and prototypes.
This pattern is usually implemented using either multiple inheritance or using object composition. Both solutions are supported in Logtalk. We illustrate in our sample implementation a solution that mimics composition by using parametric objects. We could also have used in alternative dynamic predicates to hold the same information passed using parameters.
